It's worth reading all the above, frustrated comments. They bear out my observation:
Member Services no longer effectively exists. Time to seek out third parties, to Rent out Points, or unload contracts.
DVC functions when we can contact them. We can't contact them. They are effectively out of businesses.
OUR personal plan....
1) List All DVC points that Disney refuses to allow us to bank for RENTAL (in our case, David's).
2) Reject any AP extension, demand partial refund, buy NEW APs, that activate on first Use. So far, there are NO verified reports of actual AP refunds. Got one? Please share.
3) Strongly consider selling our contracts, 2022. No need to get rich - those contracts have already hit "break even". We could actually sell at $1.00/point, and loose no money.
Now this is our PERSONAL plan. Yours may be different. We are saddened that a great organization just folded like a wet sheet of paper
