Anyone able to book with the 35% off Disney Visa offer?

Posters on other threads have mentioned CEO Bob Iger's intent to "wean" guests off of discounts. He doesn't feel they're necessary anymore. I guess it's better marketing strategy than eliminating everything all at once.

It does seem like the pool of discounted rooms has gotten almost non-existent at times.

I think they do you to get you all excited, talk about it with family. Then you have to call to check price (since you can use the code online) & bam there's nothing available & your family still wants to go.

Just tried for either April 3-8 or April 10-15...nothing available.

I have already booked and am waiting to apply a discount when they come out for my travel dates. Hopefully I can get one.

This thread was asking about a specific Disney Visa discount offer of 35% during spring...not a general public discount.

Thank you. I was referring to a Disney Visa offer for August 2016, not a general public discount. I also meant to hit reply to one of my earlier posts.

Oh, sorry...I understand now. You are hoping for a Disney Visa discount to come out for August.

We tried last week for end of June at the Poly and were told that no rooms were available at the Disney Visa rate .. the agent tried GF too and nothing was available there either.

In the past, phone reps at Disney would honor the Disney Visa discount if you knew the code. Has anyone done that this time? We have a Chase Visa, not a Chase Disney Visa and we don't want another card but we'd really like that 35% at OKW. Any advice??

Not available for anything for the April dates I have. Several CM's on phones say keep calling in case of cancellation. Why offer this until end of February if no inventory of villas exist? Or did they ever in the first place.

I was able to get the discount at Boardwalk for June 14th through the 18th. I just called a couple of days ago. I know the Polynesian and Animal Kingdom was also available, not sure about the others. I had a reservation at the cabins and was able to switch and save over $500.

Almost...I was able to get a discount at OKW for 1 b/r villa 5/18-5/24...then DH decided it would be too much walking if we were in the back of the resort (no car)....so we decided to go with AoA instead....but it would have been a great discount!

I have tried and tried, and not been able to get the discount. Guess I will try again. Thanks for the info!

I had a heck of a time finding any availability for my dates with a FL resident discount

I had the cast member check multiple date combos for the last two weeks of Junre. We were on the phone forever and every place the offered the deal at was booked.

I'm pretty sure that those hotels were, not on the Visa Deal. I remember Saratoga, Wilderness, Keywest and the beach ones maybe.

Polynesian (Studios only) is on the list, but VGF is not.
