Cass - We are traveling Skyservice 'cause I don't want to leave early in the AM! This way we can stay until 5:00 p.m. before we have to go back to TO!

I still have not decided whether to keep a car the whole time or just rent for the weekend and then take Towncar back to airport!

This is the last detail that still needs to be taken care of!

I wanted back early on the 1st because school starts the next day for Noel... when does your DD go back?

I was at Disney last labour day - it was a ZOO with a capital ZZZZZZZZ. The parks were atricious and the AKL population soared as the pool was packed etc... be prepared

I just went on disneyworld.com and it still has Spectro going on Aug. 30th

We'll be there from 8/23, departing 8/30 in the a.m., which means we'll get to see Spectro the night we arrive, but not on the 30th.

I just wanted to add to this thread that the MK hours for the 23rd were just extended by 30 minutes too. Spectro is still listed at 8:30 with FITS at 9:30, but the park is open until 10.

So things seem to be changing, at least a little bit, in the right direction!

That Monday I just want to take my time getting up, finish what's left for packing, have them stow the luggage and then it's up to DD what we do! But if she had it her way, we would not go home! She would say we are HOME!LOL

I just wanted to get some thoughts about a good day for MK. from people going that week. At first I was going on Wed. because I have read it is a good day. Now, I am thinking about Tuesday because alot of people will go on Mon and Wed. because there are fireworks and later closings those nights. We will see fireworks and Spectro Sun the 31st.. what do you all think???

Glad you asked that one because I was wondering the same thing. Our original plan has us going to MK on Mon and Epcot Tues, but I can always switch!

have made plans around the early entry days.

It has been suggested that wherever you go that usually by noon time it is too hot to really enjoy anything; therefore the earlier you get there the better. Then again it has been stated that the last week is slower than the rest of the summer! Time will tell.

Have you seen the thread about Mondays at the Magic Kingdom?? IMHO Tuesday is probably better than Monday.

We are also planning on EE for MK , but since we will be there 10 nights I also wanted to go other days. We will probably also go on Friday.

We plan to hit MK Monday evening after dinner at Kona Cafe, just for a couple rides, and the fireworks.
We will then return to MK Thursday morning for EE, and leave around noon time. Friday will be the same plan only not EE, and we may stay a little later(9:00-12:30?). Dont know how well it will work, but were trying it.
Now if FITS got added for Friday, with longer hours or enight, we would go to Fantasmic on Monday night instead of MK/FITS and end our trip at MK with FITS...but Im losing hope of that happening.
