Anyoen going week of August 24, 2003?

Did you notice that Spectro was scheduled for Saturday, 8/30/03 but has been cancelled? Bummer - we're leaving 8/31/03 & won't get to see it. FITS is still scheduled though

Im leaving Friday so that doesnt affect me anyway, but I did notice it. Im still hoping for extended hours & FITS or an enight for Friday the 29th. Closing at 7:00 on Friday of Labor Day weekend is crazy!

We will be there the week of 8/24 - 8/31. I was all set for Spectro the Sat. night before we left and they recently changed it. I can't believe they aren't going to extend the hours or have a spectro parade the week leading into Labor Day! Oh well! There's still time to hope for a change. 18 days and counting!

I just checked the official WDW site and the hours for the 30th are 10:00 now with Spectro at 9:00 and Fireworks at 10:00!!!!!! There is still hope that they'll extend the hours that week!!!! Now I'm really getting excited. By the way we'll be at the All-Star Sports that week! Hope you have a great time!

Hi, we will be going that week, but leaving on Tuesday (26th) through Tuesday 9/2, since the airfares were dirt cheap then from Philadelphia -- $150 round trip!

I hadn't heard of the cancellation, but I am so glad they re-instated Spectromagic and fireworks. It's Labor Day weekend, for heaven's sake!

FITS is Fantasy In The Sky, the Magic Kingdom Fireworks.

We'll also be there, August 25 (Monday) through August 29 (Friday) for us. I was bummed how little was going on during the week, but I did expect it when we decided to go during value season.

We will be there August 23rd-August 31st!!! Getting very excited. We are also hoping for a e-ticket night Tuesday (26th) or Friday (29th.) I am hoping since those are the only 2 days (besides Sunday the 24th) with a 7pm closing of MK. E-nights are all on Tuesday's and Friday's this month too.

We will be at the ASMO Aug. 23 until Aug. 31st. Then we are going to the Polynesian for 2 nights to hang out and enjoy the resort.
I am also hoping for an E-night that week! If they schedule an E-ride night when the park closes at 7, what time does it start and end??

I'm not sure of the answer, njdiz, but think it is 3 hours after closing....we are going the 23rd thru the 30th & cannot stand the waiting! We are staying at CBR.....the 27th MK is opened until 8:30 with FITS & we'll be there!

Sorry to disappoint some of you but all the times we have visited WDW during the last week of August they have never added an enight once the dates were published. The parks are not crowded though.....have fun anyway!

We are also going to be there from Aug 29 - Sept 1, and we are staying at All-Star Movies. It is a weekend birthday (mine on the 30th) getaway without the kiddos!

I also noticed the changes in Spectro. Now that it's been added again to Saturday, August 30 which do you think will be busier....Spectro on Saturday (9pm) or Sunday (8:15)?

We'll be there Aug 24th thru 30th. I guess I'll mis Spectro since I will be home in my bed in New Orleans by then. Oh Well. Had not planned on it anyway. With 2 little ones, that is way too late for us! Not even sure we will catch FITS on either night it is showing.

PS. We will be at the Contemporary thanks to Shades of Green!

Actually they did add one last year..but then proceeded to cancel it a few days later.
Id be happy with the same hours from last year...Friday until 8:30 with FITS, but 7:00 and no FITS stinks for a holiday weekend.

They added an E-ticket night August 31st, 2001 the Monday before. We attended it
