Hey all! Thinking of investing some $$ in a new pair of shoes for our trip. Does anyone wear their Crocs to WDW? Are they comfy walking shoes??

P.S. If you're unfamiliar with Crocs, go to www.crocs.com. They're ALL the rage here in KC!

Hey, these are pretty neat! I would be interested to hear info on them for WDW....

jpeka65844, you sure have started something! I hadn't heard of them before your post, and am now interested in them too!

They look comfortable and capable of withstanding the downpours that WDW is famous for! :umbrella:

So, I would like to hear from anyone that has worn them at WDW before too?

My DH wears these at work, he's a surgical tech. They are very comfy....maybe we should check them out for our trip too :)

Do you wear socks with them, because I never wear socks. I know...I know...my parents DID teach me well, but I just don't like socks.

I showed these to my daughter (I had never seen them before) and it seems like I will be purchasing them in several colors for the princess!! :-D

My 6th grade son came in while I was checking out the website, and screamed, "Crocs!!! I want some!!" It seems that ALL of his friends (he is the one who emphasized "ALL", not me! :teeth: ) are wearing them at school!

So, after checking out the website, I had to purchase some...but so many colors to choose from! :confused3

My DD and I each purchased a pair before our trip last August. They were comfortable and we thought they'd be great in case of a sudden downpour or on the water rides. After wearing them one day and walking around the park, we never wore them again. They became a bit uncomfortable in the heel after a long day of walking. But that was just our experience.

We love these things!! I have 3 daughters and they all have 2 pairs each, I have 2 pairs, and my mother owns 6 different colors. She just returned from a trip to Mexico and they were all she wore. They are very comfortable.
Hey! I'm your neighbor, I live in Shawnee!!

Not too good for narrow feet.. I tried a pair on and it felt like my feet were swimming in them!

Hmmm....I have wide feet....I wonder how they'll fit me? I hope they aren't too tight?! I will get a pair and try them for awhile here before I take them to WDW.... I usually take 2-3 different shoes and alternate them each day on my trip; that way, if I have any blisters starting, they get to 'rest' the next day because my shoes each have different pressure points. (Does that even make sense???!!)

I just posted on my experience with Crocs at WDW--briefly they were my life saver!! I was already used to wearing Birkenstocks because of m wide feet and other problems--THESE SHOES ARE HEAVEN SENT!! Better yet they make them about 15minutes from where I live!!!

LOVE THEM

These look really interesting. However, I wear a 7 1/2 and they go from 6-7 to 8-9. 8s are usually too big for me. Would the 6-7 fit? Anyone else have a pair and have this problem? :confused3

I have a question..........these look like they're made of a plastic type material. Wondering if the bottom of your feet sweat in these? Would I be better off with cotton socks on in these?

Your feet don not sweat at all and because of the material they are made out of there is no odor either--they breath incredibly well. No need for socks although occasionally I wore them for fear of blisters--but, it wasn't long before I ditched the socks at WDW it was more comfortable (NO Blisters)
As far as the sizes go--these shoes are not snug fitting at all--pretty free form and will adapt--if you are a size 7 I would go with the 8's but you can also call them and ask --their number is on the website: www.crocs.com.

Hope this helps

I just bought my dd5 and I some for our upcoming trip, I love them. We are from KC :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I am the same size I got a small the medium is way too big, these shoes run big and wide. :cool1: :teeth:

Same here...I wear 7 1/2 to an 8. The 8/9 were way too big, but the 6/7 fit great! My toes touched the front of the shoe at first, but after several days, they have stretched and my toes no longer touch the front.
