...Other People's Breast Milk? Am I the only one who was totally grossed out by the 'tandem' breast feeding of the 4 and 5 year olds

I have sky+ it,but i have a feeling i am not going to watch it all.Just reading the interview that Kate done abut this made me think--eurghhhh.x.

No - couldn't bear to watch :confused3

TBH I'm concerned over the lady who has just said she has breast fed other peoples children yet claimed it felt sexual? Isnt that wrong? yet they just laughed?:sad2: I'm wishing I never watched this now.

I watched the whole programme and found this particular conversation very disturbing. If a woman was baby sitting my girls and decided to "comfort" them by feeding them I'd be livid, who knows what could be passed on in her anti-bodies. A previous contributor to the show who expressed for prem babies said that her milk was screened and stererlised before being given. Very weird for a woman who has never had a child of her own to want to comfort a child by feeding it:confused3
I'm quite pro breastfeeding and I do think we have been conditioned to think it's only visually acceptable to feed a baby under 12 months. If people want to continue past that point then thats up to them (FYI - I didn't) but I'm with Joh the tandem 4/5year old thing was weird:scared1:
Little Britain and "Bitty" kept coming to mind....:lmao:
These programmes are very successful at making mothers feel guilty....

I'm like Michelle - I Sky+ it but really don't know if I want to watch it now, especially after reading this thread.

I am absolutely 100% sure that some years ago a woman had her baby taken away from her by Social Sevices for confessing such a thing to her heath visitor so, yes, I'd say it is very, very wrong... :sad2:

I couldn't watch the programme. The clips definitely made me think of Little Britain and, as someone who breastfed all 3 of her babies, I didn't want to be grossed out by something that was a private and lovely memory for me...

Your so right Karen - I haven't got any children at the mo but when I do I certainly don't want to have images from that program in my mind if I am able to breastfeed.

couldn't even watch it Joh, made me queasy just thinking about it
