Have Fun
Marisa is BY FAR the greatest Cast Member to of ever walk the grounds of Walt Disney World!

Is she the person to the bottom left? If so I think I remember her, she was the BEST! She really got involved in those at the kiosks and commented on rooms and your character.

We'll try to do the 10 time, but i'll have a few 12 year olds withme who migth not move as fast....will you guys still meet a little later also, like around lunchtime?
In all likelihood we'll still be wandering around at lunchtimeTypically we tend to eat lunch at Columbia Harbour House -- and we can ride Mansion which is just amazing with the refurb...
I'll pm you a way to contact us![]()
You all still looking for people to meet up with? I would love to meet some of my fellow VMK/DISers. We planned to be there on that day anyway (Birthday). It will be a sad day. Let me know what the plans are.
We will miss seeing Jacques and Marisa at VMK. They are truely 2 of the best Cast Members. But, we will see you around the park somewhere![]()
We're DIS! Wear green to the meet! Hmm, and maybe we should also make VMK-ish nametags...
Sorry to sidetrack the thread a bit, but I'm really dismayed to see people using the closure of VMK Central (or any reason, really) to badmouth CM's working there.
Jaques was not the first CM I met at VMK Central, but he was the first who was friendly, helpful and (miracle of miracles in the early days of the game) he actually KNEW WHAT THE HECK VMK WAS! This was pretty much a rarity at VMK Central when it opened. He was the model of a perfect CM and I always enjoyed seeing him.
I'm particularly upset to see these comments because the only complaint against him seems to be that - heavens forbid - he FOLLOWED THE RULES! And for that he gets compared to the gestapo? Seriously? Pretty harsh.
My last few trips to WDW I haven't seen Jaques but have been helped by other CMs who were equally helpful and friendly. It did seem that in the final days they had a good crew who understood the games and the rules. ALL of them will be missed in my book. But I'm also looking forward to seeing what new things VMK comes up with for us in the parks.
