Anybody use a Rayshade?

I have the Double Jeep stroller and I LOVE it! It's light weight and drives really well. Only downside are the canopies. They don't fold up well with the stroller so I am thinking about getting the double Rayshade. Anyone have one of these? How does it work? Does it fold up with the stroller or do you have to take it off? If you do take it off, is it easy to fold up?

I have the kiddopotamus rayshade for a single stroller...I can only assume it will function similar to the double. Yes, it folds up super easy into a nice, flat circle. You don't have to take it off when folding, but the shade will stick up a bit above the stroller if you don't. I would take it off as it is easy to do, and the fabric is a bit fragile (it can snag pretty easy, esp. on velcro.) Although if you are just going on the bus/train or something like that, it is fine to leave on. (you'll see what I mean when you get it.) It works GREAT, although it kinda just doesn't function well in a good wind....it will blow up. Living in super sunny Colorado (except for this weekend), we use ours alot and I don't leave home without it.

I have the rayshade for a single stroller and just LOVE it!!!! It does stick up a little when we fold up the stroller but that's fine. I take it off when we are just using the stroller around town and I folder it up and store it in the stroller's pocket. I put it on only when we're outside for extended periods of time. I love that I can pull it way down to block out things when DD needs to take a nap but keeps wanting to watch people and not go go to sleep. I also worked pretty well to keep the rain off DD at a recent March of Dimes walk. I plan on pulling it down when we park the stroller and place a poncho over it in case it rains while we're on the rides.

My only concern is the ease of folding it up. My husband has FORBID me to ever buy anything that folds up. You know the things that claim to fold down into a small circle just by bending here and pulling there? I bought a little cabana for the beach this past summer and you pretty much needed an engineering degree to fold the thing up and get back into the pouch. It was hysterical trying to get it closed up on the beach in the wind, after a few beers Hoping the Rayshade isn't the same kind of thing.

I'm planning on buying 2 (one for each stroller we're bringing to WDW). I am going to order them on Walmart and have them shipped to site.

I've heard that people use a chip clip on the front to weigh it down so the wind doesn't pick it up.

How are the pockets on the side? Can I put my pottle of water in there? One stroller doens't have any parent or kids trays. I am debating buying an addon organizer or maybe can I get away with just the pockets on the rayshade? The stroller is a Chicco Ct5.

If I can do it, I have no doubt you and your DH can get it folded.

They can easily fit a smaller sized bottle of water. But we also have the Mac Organizer on our quest, which I am sure you could put on the Ct5. It folds with the stroller and the rayshade fits perfectly in there!
