Have been here since Saturday. So far have been to Epcot twice and MK twice. MK is packed! DHS today.
hi there
I also wondered where you were talking about....and the PP wasn't nitpicking, they were making a tongue in cheek remark about your very general question....but your response was a tad over the top and a bit narky.
but back to topic...the answer to your question is
I am here now, but wont be for long as I will then be somewhere else.
Hope that helps.
More or less helpful to anyone reading this board. The answer to "anybody there now?" is "yes" for every reader. The question then becomes, "Where did you intend?"
and there are so many different aps that you can get that will give you up to the minute crowd numbers, line wait times, etc etc.....so much easier than asking a generic vague question on a message board and waiting for a few days for an answer that to the OP seemed time sensitive....
With the addition of FP+ the crowd calendars/apps are drawing lots of question from folks on the theme parks board. During my trip in Nov. a couple of recommended parks turned out to be a little different than what was predicted. Leaving for Bay Lake Tower tomorrow.
.
Wow the DIS sure has changed.
Used to be pretty friendly, a place where it was easy to ask a question.
Just got back last night and I would say that lines were definitely longer. The only conclusion I can make is that all of the people that dont stay on property are no longer allowed fast passes. The maelstrom boat ride we never waited for more than 5 minutes and we waited almost 45 in extreme downpours

Not sure I know what narky means?
Yes, very helpful. Good luck when you get there.
Standby lines are longer than they were under the old fp system. Haunted and pirates, like everything else, has much longer standby, and they start getting long earlier.
Your morning park, afternoon swim, evening f&g plan is solid. Get to your morning park at rope drop .. That is more important than it ever was. Consider getting fp for the afternoon/evening for another park when you know the standby will be long. For instance, do rope drop at hs and use fp in the afternoon/eve at Epcot on the same day.
Have fun.
Geez.... Some people will figure out a way to argue about anything....
FWIW, I knew what the OP meant and the information they were seeking.

Leaving in 2 days and this is our plan. We have FP+ scheduled in the afternoons. Plan on sleeping in on our AK and HS days as we have All the FP+ that we need. Other 3 days we will hit EP or MK at rope drop, swim in the afternoon, although weather does not look great, and then head to the opposite park in the early evening and enjoy our FP+ rides. Hoping it works out well.![]()
Thanks, I was wondering if I was losing my mind. Some people do seek out arguments, that was not the point (obviously) to this thread but some latecomers smell blood and must be bored?
Either way, thanks for saying that, I thought it was fairly obvious what I was asking, especially after I clarified in my second post.
Glad this thread seems to be back on track.
Clarifying it in your SECOND post really was a tad too late wasnt it......just stating the obvious.
Maybe in future make your thread a tad more detailed and not so vague.... Simple![]()
As for being bored, naahhhh, we just didn't like you picking on the PP and being a meanie.
Maybe, now that you have your information you can ask the kind mods to lock this thread.
Oh my goodness, can you move on please and stop hijacking my thread? You don't get to decide when somebody should close a thread, for the record people can still give feedback about crowds, it's an ongoing topic. You're tying up this thread with argumentative language, that's against the rules of the DIS and if you continue I will report you. I'm asking respectfully for you to move on.
Amen!!! I was thinking something similar. That PP came back just to keep up the argument. It's a PP like that, that contribute to the declining friendliness of the Dis. Sad thing is, I really don't think they see it. To the OP- I'm glad you asked the original question. I understood exactly what you meant when you said 'there' and I thought it was utterly crazy that people 'needed' clarification and felt the need to get so critical of the way you asked your question. Here's a thought... If they didn't understand the question the way it was asked, just don't answer it. Have a magical day.Oh my goodness, can you move on please and stop hijacking my thread?
