Anybody swim at POR lately

WE swam in one of the quiet pools in alligator bayou a few weeks ago.

swam their this past week. both in main pool quiet pool.

During the day hard to find a seat at main pool so shifted over to quiet. I liked it much better.

Went in the jacuzzi as well. Also very crowded. POR needs jacuzzis by the quiet pools as well. Such a big resort for IMO a small pool

It was heated and refreshingly cool. the wind was blowing but pool not terribly overheated. Took me some time to get adjusted.

was great

thanks, that is just what I wanted to know, bathing suits are definately on the list!!

1 1/2 weeks ago at Ole Man Island. It was heated but not like other Disney pools we've been in. A little chilly I thought but not unbearable.

We are just back from POR and swam everyday. The old man island was too crowded (even for my kids, 10 and 12) but the quiet pool was wonderful. It was "Disney perfect"...cool enough in the hot daytime to refresh, warm enough in the evening so you didn't shiver. We especially loved swimming at night. With the clip-clop of the horse-drawn carriages going past (not seen, just heard) and the moon glimmering off the surface, floating and staring up at our "mansion", we felt we were in HEAVEN. Ahhhhh. POR is so peaceful, even though it was at capacity, in our little corner we felt like we owned the place. ENJOY!

Typically Disney tells you that pools are heated to 80 degrees. In the summer that changes as they are heated by nature. Otherwise, I wouldn't plan on any warmer and perhaps a bit cooler.
