Soundstage Restaurant? It was a character meal at MGM with Beauty and the Beast? This was sometime in the early to mid 90's. On the second floor they had the vase with the rose in it from the story, it was all French theming, really nice. I don't remember if it was counter service or table, but I remember looking forward to seeing the vase every time (I was only around 9 or 10 at the time, maybe it was called something else?)

I remember the restaurant...but my character meal was Aladdin. Genie and Jafar circulating, Aladdin and Jasmine in the atrium for photos. I have a button somewhere that says "I had breakfast with Aladdin"

IF you go past Brown Derby restaurant and go right......it ws there.....in the same local of Little Mermaid.....We had Aladdin and company.....it was great and we missed it when they changed ......I think we went there a few years ..

Yep, that's the place. We ate there in Nov 97 and had a pretty good breakfast. But it was hard to maneuver through the tables. I remember Quasimodo and Esmerelda.

I remember when it opened. It had real good pizza and it wasn't yet a character meal.

I have a friend that a Toy Story Char Meal-breakfast I believe, there. Now I think that is very smart have a meal for the newest release.

It's too bad they shut this place down. With every new Disney movie, they could alternate what characters are there.

Glad you mentioned this. I could swear that I remembered going to an Aladdin themed restaurant at MGM, but couldn't really remember anything else about it. I don't remember the characters being there though. I'm thinking we had a CS lunch there. I wonder if the characters were just there for breakfast?

I think so, because I know it also had CS there as well! Not sure if the characters came around during that or not.

We ate there in 1998.

It was Alladin, Jasmine, Geni, Meeko and Raffiki.

It was a buffet and we enjoyed it very much.

It was where Playhouse Disney is now.

Back when it was Alladin themed, they had two spitting camels out front. Those camels are now over in the Magic Kingdom at the Flying Carpets ride.

I would LOVE to see some pictures from those old character meals! How cool! I wish they had a PIXAR character meal somewhere!!! My family loves those characters!!!
