Anybody ready for 'Miracle'??

Just got home from this movie and it was fantastic! I was supposed to go to the NFL Experience tonight, but my SO has a cold and the friends we were going with backed out. I got online to see what was playing and there was a sneak preview of Miracle at my local AMC. This was a very emotional movie. I was 16 when I saw the USA defeat the USSR in 1980 (on TV), and this movie brought back a flood of memories, particularly the opening credits. I'll be seeing this again when it is released next weekend and will be first in line to get the DVD when it comes out.

Hey Dan

I definitely want to see this one! It looks along the lines of Remember The Titans and The Rookie which were both excellent movies IMO.
I was a freshman in HS in those days and still remember that match very well. Being from the South I nor anyone around me with a southern tone in their voice understood Hockey BUT we understood the signifigance and importance of it.
What an awesome moment in time for the good ol USA!!

Although its not a Disney movie, another feel good tearjerkin movie is Radio. Its out on video now.

For anyone who didn't see it the first time around, or wasn't born yet, this coming Thursday, ESPN Classic will be re-airing the 1980 USA-USSR Olympic hockey game at 9:00 EST. An hour before the game they will be doing a profile on Jim Craig (the USA Goalie) and a behind the scenes show about the movie.

I saw it 1/12 at DTD at the AMC movie theater there. It was outstanding. We got special passes at the Marathon Expo. I can't wait to see it again.
