Anybody order from Haband.com?

I'm frustrated. I ordered a pair of boots Sunday (no lectures, please - I know I should have done this weeks ago :teeth: ).

I chose standard shipping - order should arrive in six to eight business days.

I went online Wednesday to see the status of my order. It's pending. So I called to see what was going on and if I could pay to expedite it, since they have faster shipping options.

No. "The label is printed, it's on the truck, and it's being shipped today." And then I was chastised by a supervisor for not reading the FAQ to see that I would have my order six to eight business days after it was shipped, not after it was ordered - and no explanation was given as to why it hadn't been shipped yet, despite the CSR telling me normally it takes one to two business days for orders to ship. Not counting Sunday, to me that means it would go out by Tuesday - but then, I'm just the impatient customer with the icy feet.

So I checked again this morning and... what do you know? The order is STILL "pending/open". Not shipped. So I called. Again. First I was told the item WASN'T IN STOCK and they're waiting for it to come in and will ship it out when it arrives. Then I was put on hold and told it's in, the label is printed, it's being shipped, and I will have it six to eight business days from when I placed the order.

I'm frustrated. And cold. And confused. Any advice?

Cancel the order and get the boots somewhere else. I will bet that when you do get the boots, you will not be happy with the quality - not in the least little bit.
 
Haband is a sister company to Johnny Appleseed's, Blair and some others; all owned by Orchard Brands out of Beverly MA. Given what I know of their internal structure, and the massive corporate restructuring that they've been undergoing for the last couple of years I'm not surprised you're having problems. I second PP cancel the order and run to the local outdoor store. I think you've stated before that you live in MA. Do you live anywhere near Natick? The Natick Outdoor store has some great buys. A friend just got a pair of boots there last week. Or call LL Bean.
 
Thanks for the advice - I'll cancel the order tonight.

They're Totes boots, so I'm sure I can get them somewhere!
 

Argh! They lied MORE! When I asked this morning, I was told they're open from 8 AM to midnight. When I called, the recording said they're open from 8 AM to 8 PM! And no, my order still hasn't been shipped. Plus, according to the website, orders placed online are processed within ONE business day.

And there's NO way to cancel the order online!!!

If you're within earshot of New England tomorrow morning, block your ears!
 
as an off shot - I looked at the title of this thread and read "Anybody order from HUSBAND.com"
 
After you cancel your order, go on Zappos.com- BEST website- excellent customer service, free shipping both ways- never had a problem with them, and I'm sure they carry the totes boots :)
 
Grr. I can't cancel it. It was "shipped this morning" - or so they said when they called me back before 9. I called just after 8, but their system was down.

I don't have time today - but one day next week I'm GOING TO Orchard Brands and demanding to talk to someone. Official. Meantime I'm going to register with LinkedIn and see who I know who knows someone there.
