anybody live in Athens, TX?

do you know anything about an assisted living facility called Oak Wood? I have a long lost friend living there. would like to know if it has a decent reputation.

Not an endorsement or a guarantee, but they don't have many complaints against them.

I've had several dear relations stay in assisted living facilities and they tend to be nice and a great alternative to nursing homes. A couple of dear relations probably lived several years longer (and in better health) than they would have otherwise thanks to assisted living - they were interested in life and had friends around and activities and were treated like the respected elders that they were, but they had things like meals, laundry and housekeeping taken care of and had nursing care available.
