Anybody like Ebates?

A friend recommended Ebates to me, so I joined. (Not Ebay)
I've been surfing around on it a bit and I can't really see how it's so great. What am I missing?
Do any of you have good results with Ebates?

Unlike most of the rebate sites they don't do rewards for surveys or paid e-mails or hunt down this code for x points - it's strictly a shopping rebate site and they offer pennies on the dollar. Unless you have something big to buy the savings are not fantastic but I generally get a rebate check for between $10 and $15/quarter. So far this quarter I'm saving $6 on my tax prep plus about $3 on groupons I've bought - not a ton but still better than if I had not used the site at all. I used to do much better but B&N stopped offering ebates on the ebooks. The thing I like most about it is I get back CASH. No counting points, no hoping for a gift card I might use.

I like fatwallet and usually compare offers between both. Lately I have been using Southwest rapid rewards shopping just because I am trying to bank some extra points. Many times the fatwallet deals where better and they pay cash and the checks come quickly. Hope that helps.

When I am looking to buy something, I will check there first from now on. I chose a $10 Target card as my bonus for signing up. I'm going to check Target.com to see if I can spend it.

I love ebates. Very simple to use and the checks come quickly. I like that there isn't much needed on your end and that it is cash. I don't get any junk email from them either which is an added bonus.

I love ebates! I have them deposit my "big fat check" in my Paypal account every quarter. Just checked their site and I joined in 2006. Without really trying and buying mostly my dog's food online and using Disney Shopping, magazines.com, restaurant.com, I've earned $1760.00. Not bad for doing nothing!

Just checked - $2,273 for me in 4 years. I'm happy with them.

I buy a lot online from JCrew, some Gap, etc. It all adds up. I am grateful for any savings.

I picked out something and went to check out and I can't find any sign of my $10 bonus that I got for signing up.

Don't they send you a gift card for that? Or did they give you a gift card code by email?
I use Ebates for most things, MyPoints for searches and click throughs and SR for things that may not be at Ebates. I used to use SR for most things but started having real trouble with some things being credited. I'm totally happy with Ebates, just joined the end of last year and have already gotten over $60.00 which goes right into my trip fund.

They didn't send me a code and I only signed up yesterday, so maybe they will mail me something.

I always forget to use it . I just made an online purchase with Hanes a few days ago and I see I could have gotten a couple dollars back. Oops. I get maybe $6-8 a quarter.

I think the bonus is mailed to you. I didn't do target but mine was.

I love eBates! I started using it before Christmas 2010, and so far I've gotten back almost $200. I buy all my dogs meds through there from 1-800-Pet-Meds, which saves a bundle. Oftentimes you can use it in conjunction with retailmenot.com promo codes and save even more. It's free, so no harm in trying it!
