Hi
My EM told me that there is no where to have a relaxed drink at the Yacht club. ie no bar/lounge.
We are staying here and having our ceremony here too.

My idea is to have dinner at 5.30pm after our service, and then an illuminations cruise. But what will happen after 9.30 if there is no where to have a drink? I can't send my guests to bed?
Is the info I received right?
I may have to re-think my evening plans as I really wanted to keep the evening going until 12 at least.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.

To my knowledge there are a few bar/lounges in the yacht & Beach club
:confused3 Did she mean at those times specifically? or same place for a large group?

hi
I told her my plan and she said that I wouldnt be able to get drinks after 10pm.
She said to her knowledge there wasn't a bar/lounge area and that my best bet would be DTD / PI or the BW.
It seems no matter what i decide on, there is always something that spoils it.
I dont like the idea of an early night for my guests.
Wherever I go I also want to keep my dress on.

:confused3 WHAT? There is a great bar/longe called Martha's vineyard next to Ariel's @ the beach club ( a 2 min walk from Yacht) There is also a place in Yacht called crew's cup or tsomething...the problem is as I think about it they close at like ten or something (can anyone confirm?) What I would do is take the boat (5 mins) over to the boardwalk and go to Atlantic Dance Hall or the brewery or jellyrolls...that's just a suggesstion good luck.

there are 4 lounges at the yacht & beach club. the crews cup (beer, specialty coffees) and ale & compass (beer) at the yacht club and martha's vineyard (wines, cocktails) and the rip tide (wines, cocktails) at the beach club. i would just call the yacht or beach directly for hours yc 407-934-7000 & bc 407-934-8000. i seem to remember them being open til 11.

theres also the belle vue lounge (cocktails) at the boardwalk as well as jellyrolls & atlantic dance which are both clubs but also serve drinks. theres also kiminos (asian specialty drinks like sake) at the swan & the lounge at the dolphin.

hope this info is helpful, i know youve been having issues trying to get things done. best of luck with your plans, you know where to find us for help, the good ole dis.

I see everyone got you covered on exactly where you can have a relaxed drink before or after your cruise, yup lots of places at the YC and the BC

It does sometimes frustrate me when EM's don't actually know enough about WDW that they are giving future brides wrong information.

But we can always put you straight on the DIS :Pinkbounc
