Anybody know which direction the MVMCP parades will run?

When I was there 2 years ago, the earlier parade went from Frontierland around the hub and then down Main St. The later one went to oppisite, starting at MS and ending at FrL. I got a great spot right in Frontierland with having to wait hours. Main Street fills up fast.

I will be at MVMCP 12/5.

Hi There - unless WDW suddenly decided to change this - it does run from Frontierland to MainStreet.... have fun - it's a great parade. The Reindeer and Gingerbread men are my favorite!

The late parade we saw 2 years ago ran from MK to Frontierland. I'll find out Thursday what they're doing this year since I'll be at MVMCP.

Unless they are being filmed for something the MVMCP (for the parties) runs from Main Street to Frontierland for BOTH parades... All nighttime parades run this way to eliviate the crowds at the front of the park...Same applies for Spectro Magic.

I'm almost 100% certain the parades run forward

I was there on Sunday night, and it was VERY crowded. People were lining up for the parade way in advance. I didn't want to bother with the crowds on Main Street, so I watched from Frontierland. I was able to find a spot without waiting where I could stand up on something and had a great view. Yes, Frontierland is the end of the parade.

Thanks for the info! We'll be there for the first time on the 9th! Now I can start to plan.

Hmmmm....they must have changed it. Last year we went to two MVMCPs and the first parade started in Frontierland for both parties.

My DD is in the parade and she was just talking about the parade route this evening. She said that previously the first parade went from the back of the park to the front and then the second parade reversed--but they changed it this year. Now BOTH parades definitely run from the front of the park to the back. The change has something to do with the size of the parade and the way all the floats and CM's must be lined up backstage before the parade begins.
