I wish we could have stayed longer - to be able to enjoy the parks after the Thanksgiving crowds left - but now that I have a son in high school, he cannot miss too many days. He will be missing one as it is. Having a highschooler is cramping my style!!

Yes, I am looking forward to meeting triplefigs and her family. My son starts middle school next year so this is our last Dec. trip. Boo Hoo! It does get frustrating trying to work around everyone's schedule. Are you staying 14th or 12th floor? I can't wait to hear about your trip.

Lori, after a very disappointing 14th floor MK suite last Thanksgiving, we are sticking with our old fave the 12th floor.

I am probably the only one on these boards that had a crummy, dingy room on the 14th floor, it seems. VERY CRUMMY room and not the service so many people talk about on the DIS.

We have stayed CR 12th floor for the past 10 years, I think! My kids LOVE that place. I am looking forward to checking out the new rooms. When we were at the GF in August, my son went over to the CR's arcade and told me the elevators are really neat now. We'll see..... I told them (after that 14th floor disappointment) I do not want to stay at the CR ever again, but gave in for them. I am only staying there because the rooms have been redone. If I get an old room, I will probably have a temper tantrum!!

We're staying at the Contemporary tower because of my DS11. Last time we were in a wing. It is something that he has always wanted to do and he never asks for anything! Hopefully you'll get a rehabbed room. I think 12th floor is scheduled to be finished by then. We're hoping for one but it won't be a make or break deal since we're only staying 1 night. I love the Contemporary!
