Anybody know anything about Freemont, NE???

My dad has an opportunity to possibly transfer to another location within his company. He really doesn't know where because his plant manager approached him about it and told him to think about it so he doesn't have many details - including where but he thinks it could be Freemont.

So is there anyone here on the DIS that lives near there that can tell me anything about it???? Just wanting to gather some info. for myself. Thanks

My mom was born in Fremont and some of her family still live back there. That's all I know!

My husband was born and raised in Fremont. It's actually a pretty nice town and it's growing alot with many people moving out there who work in Omaha which is about 30 minutes away. Do you have specific questions? We'd be happy to try to answer them even though we don't live there...but we still visit his family.
