Anybody know about bathrooms?

My family of 4 adults doesn't mind a room with 2 Queens, but the wait for the bathroom can be a pain in one room. Are there any resorts that have a separate toilet room from the shower? Or 2 bathrooms? Thanks! Would love to stay on the monorail but 2 rooms on the monorail = $$$$$!

When we stayed at the Contemporary, the toilet is in it's own little "room" but you still have to walk through the shower portion of the bathroom to get to it...

Or, you could do a family suite at AOA or All Star Music. Those have two bathrooms. :thumbsup2

Just to add on to what @Mousemommy1 said, the Studios at the Polynesian also have 2 bathrooms. Well not 2 full bathrooms but 2 toilets.

ETA - I was informed that the above is incorrect. These rooms have 2 showers and only 1 toilet.

Most resorts (except Poly regular rooms) have sink area seperate from shower & toilet. So someone can be getting ready at the sink while someone else is showering.

This is incorrect. The poly studios have two SHOWERS, not two toilets. There is only one toilet in a poly studio. There are two separate bathroom spaces though. Much better than a normal Disney room for a family of 4 to get ready in the morning!

Ah crap! Thanks for the correction. I misread the description. Time for another cup of coffee.

Did you consider a family suite at AoA? A bit less than one room at a monorail resort - and it gives you two rooms, three bed options, and two bathrooms......

But only 1 bed. The others would be on pull outs/pull downs.

I slept on the Murphy bed last year and found it reasonably comfortable. My brother said the sofa bed was comfortable also. We're staying there again this year because you can't beat having 2 bathrooms!

Good to know.
It is a totally personal choice. I was just pointing out that some of the party would have neither a bed nor privacy. I personally prefer the real bed over another bathroom.

well you can ask for a room near the pool - most of the pools have their own restrooms - okay not great - but it mind work for you.

there are 1-bedroom villa that have 2 bathrooms - BLT, GFV, AKV - all do.

We think the Murphy bed at AoA is a better BED (mattress quality) than the real beds found at the values or moderates. We've fought over who gets to sleep on it - vs. in the bedroom. The sofa bed isn't quite as nice - but it's not really much different than the double beds in the values.

BC and CBR both have this. It was a nice relief in the morning. One person showing while the kids were brushing their teeth and getting ready.

The Poly didn't so we just worked around it.

Have you looked into a 1-Bedroom at BLT? You could always rent points to help with the cost. They have 2 Full Bathrooms & a stackable Washer/Dryer.

Someone would have to sleep on the pull-out couch or chair though as there aren't 2 actual beds.

We love all of the space that a 1-Bedroom has. We're renting points for a 2-Bedroom at BLT this time since my Mom is coming with. Having 3 Bathrooms with that in the morning will be really nice.

I haven't stayed at BC, but a standard room at CBR does NOT have something like the OP described. The toilet and tub/shower are in one room, while the sinks are in an area outside that room. OP is looking for toilet and shower in separate rooms. I believe (not 100% sure) that the Contemporary is the only resort with this type of setup, however, (as another poster pointed out), you have to walk through the room with the shower to get to the toilet.

Oh I'm sorry. I was thinking sink separate from toilet and shower.

OP disregard my post. The BC is the same as CBR.

I have also slept on the Murphy bed at AOA, and it was more comfortable than the actual bed. I don't think they were looking for room privacy though, since the OP said they didn't mind all four adults sharing one hotel room with two beds - they were just looking for a more convenient bathroom set up. Other than booking two rooms or a family suite that has two bathrooms, I can't really think of anything that would work. Unless you booked a cabin at FW that was within walking distance of a comfort station in a camping loop - but I wouldn't want to take a hike in the woods first thing in the morning.
