Anybody head to the parks after lunch?

We go for 9-10 days. We do 4 RD days but RD for us is arriving 15 or so minutes before park opening. One for each park. I love the atmosphere in the morning at each park and at the beginning of the trip we are dying to hit the parks so we’re up early. Those days we do midday breaks then back to the parks in the evening.

The rest are sleep in days and we get to the park around 12-4 pm (Depending on our morning plans) and close the park out. Most days we sleep in, have a leisurely breakfast and hit the pool but next trip we are doing a DS morning/afternoon before hitting MK. With FP+ it worked great and with G+ I plan on using the stack approach.

It has always worked well for us.

We generally get to the parks mid-morning. We are on vacation and in no hurry to get up and enjoy sleeping in. After getting dressed and having breakfast tends to always be mid-morning. We have never been in a race to get to the parks when they first open, just not what works for us. I would assume by mid-day, you will get some of the very early crowd leaving for a break to return to their hotel. However, there are probably also people who get there early and stay all day at the parks.

We sort of did this on our arrival day recently. We stacked 5 LL (one of which was an ILL) for the afternoon at DHS. It was nice having all those LL lined up for the afternoon.

I have two young kids so we do morning, then back to hotel for break, and then back in the evening. Works out well especially if you are able to start stacking your LL. So, theoretically, if you went at 3:00 and were staying on site, you should theoretically be able to have 3 LL booked before you even arrived.
For us, a whole day morning to night is too much. We really enjoy the afternoon and evening so rope drop and then back after a break works perfectly for us.
I get this. Especially in the hotter months I just can’t do an entire day in the parks. I need a break
