Anybody have 'Through the Years' video

We are having our reception in Living Seas and I thought It would be a lovely idea to make up a picture video to run throughout the reception (or part of it)

I contacted my planner about it and they offer a thing called 'Through the Years' that they can make up and show for us, it would cost $500.00. Or we have the option of making one up ourselves and taking it with us, they would charge $375.00 for the technician to set it up.

Just wondering if anyone has done this or something similar - im not technically minded and would love to see if anyone else has done this!

I heard (or maybe read in Carrie's book) that if you have to rent buses you have the option of adding a DVD of pictures for the ride (which I assume you have to rent because your reception is in LSS). Maybe that's a cheaper (free?) option.

I'm not 100% sure this is accurate information, but might be something to check on.

We were thinking about doing one of those too since our reception is at LSS. I would probably just use Windows Movie Maker to make a photo slide show, maybe with captions, to play throughout the reception. Its super easy to use!

I'd be happy to make one for you if you like! I'm a video editor so I make slideshows and trailers and all that.

If you sent me your videos and pictures, I could even make it Disney themed with some Disney music in the background!

I probably wouldn't charge you for it because well, DISboards is a family haha
