anybody have stocking stuffer ideas for my man?

Looking for some new stocking stuffer ideas for my DH - it's the last things I need to get and then I will be finally done.

Im at a loss this year too. Usually I do so well, and this year the only thing I can think of is a wallet. Usually I do a razer, etc....

After reading a thread here from a Mom who is getting her DD food items she does not normally get for her stocking - such as Cheez Whiz - I'm doing something along the same lines for DH... I'm getting the tins of kippers, bottle of anchovies, hot/wasabi peanuts, jumbo stuffed olives... all of the things I know he loves, but we never buy - also putting a couple of lottery tickets.

How about some magazines that he might like? DH really likes motorcycles and working out, so I like to pick him up some magazines with these subjects. He normally starts reading them as soon as he pulls them out of his stocking and we end up having to yell at him to come back to earth

I second the food suggestions. I also get DH his own bottle of cheez whiz and I also like to buy him a 4 pack of the Starbucks frappacino (sp?) drinks.

I get a couple of little airline size bottles of alcohol and a couple of scratch off lottery tickets for my DH.... (along with candy etc)

Oooo scratch offs are a great idea.

I usually do the toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant stuff with some fun stuff like gum, nuts, cookies, candy.

For stocking stuffers (for anyone), I would usually put 1 small "good" gift and then use "fillers" such as socks, candy, scractch-off tix, a belt, pens, lotions, razor blades, aftershave, etc etc etc.... Just small things that they will always use throughout the year.

what about buying a couple of cinema tickets for a date night (think that's what you guys call it) after Christmas for a film you think he'd like to see??

All in one tool, USB flash drive, digital tire gauge, gloves & handwarmers, socks & footwarmers, earbuds, favorite snacks & candies, scratch off tix, travel size toiletries (if he travels alot), LED flashlight.

This year I have for my husband's stocking: a starbucks gc, new chapstick, tabasco flavored chocolate, mini beef sticks and hot cheese, mini bag of dark coffee and a flavoring, another travel mug(his all over DC now and several have been left in the desert) and a couple mini bottles of alcohol.

Scrabble Slam card game (hey, it was on his list), different flavored nut tins, chapstick, hand sanitizer, slippers, candy of course, beef jerky.

I got my DH the Fact or Crap card game, a Hillshire Farms beef sausage, beef jerky, razors, shaving cream, a new wallet, a nice Lindt chocolate bar, a giant Hershey bar, Snickers, an iTunes gift card, some other snack food...

It's hard because in my family stocking presents were often practical...toothbrushes, favorite soap, etc. In his family, stocking presents were fun things, so I'm always at a loss for what to get him besides food.

I got DH one for his stocking along with scratch offs, Burt's Bees lip balm, pistachios and I need a few more things I will get tomorrow. I have been doing an advent calendar for him too so I did the little liquor bottles, scratch offs, candy, etc. in those doors already.

I got DH balls for all of the sports he plays (softball, tennis & golf) and then signed each one. Why? So he knows who his balls belong to! MWA HAHAHAHA!! Kinda tasteless but a pretty good gag gift, if I say so myself...

He also got batman boxer briefs, jerky and candy.

DH is getting: 2 pair of Wolverine boot socks, mitten/gloves that fold back to fingerless gloves, febreze set and refresh (for travel - hates the smell of hotels), Ghiradelli Chocolate with Caramel filling. Oh, and a Barnes and Noble Gift card

I found some great "lump of coal" candy at Whole Foods. It's in a sack that says "Coal" and it looks like dark black rock candy. He'll get a kick out of that!
