I placed three Toys R Us orders using Google checkout (GCO) on 12/25 and 12/26, utilizing the 10. off 30. from GCO for each order. The first order had
B1G1 color wonder items. One item went out of stock (the free one), so I ended up paying full price for the other. The item that was out of stock was showing as available on the website, so the TRU rep said she would ship one, charge me for it, then credit me immediately since I should have gotten a free one. I was charged, but not credited. One of the other orders had two PSP games at 16.99 each, so after the 10 off + ship + tax, it totaled 32.18, which is what Google charged me. Apparently the order Google sent to TRU only had one game on it, so that's all that was shipped. The TRU rep requested that Google credit for the second game and all related ship and tax, but I bet they'll charge me back for the 10. discount I got. I would love to call Google and demand they either credit me for 1/2 the total order, or have TRU send me the game that I already paid for, but the TRU rep said they don't have a phone number, and all issues will just be rerouted back to TRU. I will hesitate before ordering from TRU and before using GCO in the future. Anyone else experienced this? BTW, to make matters worse, Yankee Candle did not issue a promised credit and Lane Bryant sent a wrong item. Maybe I am shopping online too much.
