Anybody Going April 4 - 12 ?

I guess this is when all or most of the kids are off from school and everything is almost top dollar? My kid is off school that week; I can't change that but I don't want to spend every last penny I have either....Total out of luck situation here or is there some 'code' or plea bargain or anything one can do this week to get a decent discount? Flexible in what hotel would stay at...

I would even buy one AP if that would do it, but I don't see any AP discount for this week either.

The 4/3 deal is NOT blacked out during that week even though the website indicates so. It's pay for 4 nights get 3 nights free. That is the exact week we are going and we are booked with that deal. It's a GREAT deal considering it's peak Easter season. The deal has been available since last November, though, so I'd look into it right away if I were you.....

I am going those dates and we got the 4/3 deal with dining. Staying at Pop. They had rooms available for that week at Port Orleans Riverside about 1 month ago, too. Good luck!

Great information and thanks for replying! We are calling reservations today to inquire into this (checiking into the 4/3 discount being available this week) and will post my result! You can look online too under the "special offers" section and see what resorts are available before you call. That way, if you have some flexibility you can play around with your dates a bit to see if that changes things for you. Good luck and I hope you find something!

EDIT to add: I just looked on the disney site under the 4/3 offer and plugged in your dates and for moderate resorts it has POFQ available and for deluxe found AKL available! I'm sure there are more, but that's what I found right away. Good luck!

You guys and gals are awesome! Guess what? We got the 4/3 deal and just booked our stay at the POFQ, 4/3 to 4/11 which I know we will like (have stayed there once before!) and the deal does two obvious things;

Reduces the cost and puts us 'in budget' and it also makes me feel like a valued and wanted guest to get 'something back' so to speak.

Hmmm, maybe time to start looking into dinner reservations at a few spots!

After my preliminary research and not finding 'much', I came to this (our) forum for advice. I joined the forum some years back and I do drop by when we start plotting a disney trip!

This forum and MouseSavers.com I think are best places to go for information and advice. It is the kind, thoughtful, and helpful folks here that can really help overcome some 'hurdles'. Thanks again.
