Anybody follow the NHL?

I'm dying here! I feel like the only person who follows hockey. If anyone follows the NHL please reply!!! I'am a huge Ducks fan!

Now that football is wrapping up, my sports-crazy DS8 who plays hockey will begin to watch in earnest. I guess he follows our high school team more closely than national teams.

Yes, we are Flyers fans. I've been a fan since I was 8. My husband wasn't interested until our sons started playing last year. Now he is a huge fan as well. We make it to about 1-3 games a month and are 15 game holders for their minor league club. Unfortunatly we live in a twighlight zone where we cannot get the games on regular TV AND most of them are blacked out on Center Ice.

Like many Canadians I live in a house divided.

My husband is a HUGE Montreal candians fan and with my father's help, is attempting to brainwash our 4yrold DS into being the same.

I am a Calgary Flames fan (but my heart belongs to Joe Sakic of the Avs)

Hockey nights can be v-e-r-y interesting in my house!

House full of Flames here fans here too DH is from Calgary so we have to watch. Ive been a Flames fan for years though too.

I bought DH center Ice for the season but Im feeling like a hockey widow I love ittoo but it takes up WAY too much time!

I'm a Michigan native, so I'm a HUGE Red Wings fan. Unfortunately, I now live in the Washington DC area, and DC is NOT a hockey town. Of course, its still hard to get tix when the Wings are here due to all the Detroit transplants in the area.

If I lived in DC, I would still get the cheap seat season tickets just to watch Ovechkin. The cheap seat sesaon tix for the Flyers have a wait list and would still be to expensive for a family of 4. (Not to mention we would probably only make it to half the games)

Yes, I am aware of that. I've had it for 3 seasons. However most people get the games that are blacked out on their regular television stations. I don't.
