Anybody ever pay their balance a little late?

Anybody ever go a week or two past their 45 day mark?

Let's say you still owe 300.00 will they cancel or contact you and give you an oppotunity to pay the rest?

I don't know for sure how this works but you may want to call Disney and let them know you may be a few days late with payment. Would hate for you to try to pay it off only to find that the reservation was canceled already.

make sure you call on the 45day mark and let them know, i think you have until 30days out before the automatically cancel it.

I totally forgot when my 45 day mark was & went over by 2 days & they emailed me.

As one of the previous posters has said, they will give you until your 30 day mark to pay it off. We strictly paid for our vacation with a debit card and got too close to the 45 day mark and could not make the payments with the max limit so each day we paid the max and they told us we had until 30 days, but they will email you a reminder!!! Good luck!!!!

We were due to make our final payment on 8/01/09 but my DH's paycheck wouldn't be until the 19th (past even the 30 day mark). We called Disney and they were very helpful and noted on our ressie that he would be paying on the 19th. Of course I was a worrier and made we called nearly every day just to be sure all was fine. LOL We did receive some emails but Disney said all was fine and that they would call directly before canceling anything. They never called and we are now all set. So just give a call so they can note it on your ressie.

They are very understanding; I just did this a few weeks ago & it was not a big deal. Just make sure you call to let them know - they're very nice about it...you're not the first!

so, i was wondering......do you pay 200 when you book the reservation for a package and then the remainder is due 30 days from when you book or 30 days before your arrival. i couldn't seem to find this on the dis reservation website

The remainder is due 45 days from the day you check in.

I'm glad to hear that WDW is willing to work with people! I'm sure there are lots of instances where people can't pay exactly on the 45 day mark I can't see them cancelling all those reservations! They would lose tons of money!
