Anybody ever do a LATE seating at the clambake?

I'm thinking about altering on day's Itinerary so we can go to TL or BB at about 3:00 till closing (7:00). This means we'd have to change our PS for Cape May Cafe to around 8:30-9:00. Has anyboady ever been that late? Since it's a buffet, do they pretty much have yucky leftovers by that time, or do they keep it stocked till closing?

I've done Cape May late many times... It's always been good and fresh. They just keep restocking the yummy food.

I have had the opposite experience 2x when dining late at Cape May buffet. The food tasted like it had been around for a while and they were not good with filling things back up. Both times it was after 9:00 PM when we were seated. We now will only go at earlier times and find the food much better and refilled much faster.
