Anybody else watch "THE MIST" movie? Excellent!!!

I enjoyed most of the movie, but I had read the novella beforehand so I was very disappointed with the ending. I've heard that Stephen King absolutely LOVED Frank Darabont's ending though, and wished he would have thought of it for the novella.. I'm glad he didn't.

I liked the movie but absolutely hated the ending. I thought is was just plain sick and was very upsetting.

Oh no.... now I dont want to watch it. I dont want to make a spoiler for the rest of the people... but I cant stand it if it has anything to do with kids in this horrible ending.
This is one of the SK books I never read.....

The end is disturbing, so be warned.

Now do I agree with the ending for myself in that situation? That would be no.

I really enjoyed the movie. I rented after my dad called me and said that Stephen King was a very bad man, cause of the ending. I told my dad that ending wasn't King's... But I liked it. Yes, it was disturbing but to me believable.

*If you like that type of thing, check the BBC series "Torchwood" particularly season 3- disturbing and thought-provoking.

It is now on cable (Showtime). I watched it again two days ago, but turned it off before the end. It is worth watching, but the ending is painful...

The ending is really disturbing! The movie was good and I love SK but the end is disturbing!!!
