I feel like my next WDW trip is soooo far away! It is in Dec. 2004. But, I am so excited about it, and love to plan for it. So, anyone else have a long wait and want to wait together? We could form a support group, LOL "WDW fans without immediate trips!!"

October 2004 for us :(

But I look everyday for good deals for a quick trip for just me and DH. . .ugh I need to get away!

I'm beginning to reconcile myself to a very long wait. I really wanted to go to WDW in late May of '04, but next summer is both sets of parents' 50th wedding anniversaries and both events will involve paying for plane tickets and parties. I'm afraid that a WDW trip the same summer would break the bank. So I fear that I'm planning for the summer of '05!

(But don't feel too sorry for me because this coming March we are spending spring break in Paris and the trip will include several days at DLP.)

Define "long." I have less than 50 days and it seems sooooo looooong to me.

we have another 3 months for our next trip BUT we then will have to wait probably another 3 years!!!!! I am finishing nursing school and we want to have a baby.

335 days!!!!! I hate to rush my life away, but I'm really looking forward to my kids getting older so I can go to WDW when I want to and not have to plan around school, sports, etc. I'm always envious of those folks who get to go during WDW's low times. Oh well, someday. Until then, I'll take what I can get!!!

Please help.... I am planning a trip for 8 adults and 4 kids
(ages4-16)...I have never been to wdw and we aren't going
until August 2004!!! I want to know what you all think is the
better resort..... 1)polynesian
2)contemporary
3)fort wilderness
Thank you all
Dawn

Well, we're under a year at least (June 2004), but it still feels so far away!

After doing Disneyland 25 times I finally went to WDW in 1996 and have gone once a year through 2001 when I went twice. I skipped 2002  to do a long road trip ( I wanted to start trying other things) and then went in May of 2003. Next year I am doing another road trip so my next WDW trip would be in May of 2005 BUT I might skip it again to go to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea which would mean I wouldn't go to WDW until 2006!!!

Wow! There are a lot of us. I know that the time will go by fast, and at least DH and I have an Anniversary trip planned for Dec. at Universal - but, Disney with the kids is something special. I know it will be a magical trip, we are taking both Grandma's - one who has never been to WDW, and one who has never stayed onsite - how fun is that?!! And, at least this trip I have enough time to try and get Cindy's. But I have to wait until the beginning of Sept. next year!!

Have fun planning everyone!

We are outta here in Jan '04 and it seems so long till then. The Planning is what makes the fun and magic that much closer.

September 2004! DH doesn't quite "get Disney" and doesn't want to do any planning yet - he says, "it's a whole year from now." I've been saying, "ONLY a year! woo-hoo!"

We were planning a short trip December 2003, but I recently left my job to stay at home with DS(almost 3) and the Disney trip had to be postponed.

I don't mind waiting until next September, since we will be able to stay a whole week (maybe 2 if we time it right!) instead of just a long weekend, plus DS will be almost 4 then and ready for longer days. BUT we had already started talking about it with DS and he LOVES watching the planning DVD. We had to use a little creative redirection with him - as we had mentioned we'd see Mickey at Christmastime. (oops)

Luckily, DS has never been to WDW before, and somehow he has decided that our local amusement park (which has a castle-shaped gift shop) is the Magic Kingdom - is he ever in for a surprise! I hid the planning DVD and so far we just let him think that Dutch Wonderland is, indeed, the Magic Kingdom.

Last year at this time I was whining that I didn't know when I could go again. I was broke. I scraped up some cash and dd and I flew down for a quick week in January with my sister. It was wonderful as usual, but just made me want to plan another trip. Airfare was under $100 rt the other day. If I wasn't going to NC next month with my sister and cousins, I would have booked us all a flight. (and worried about telling DH later. ;))

So, I'd have to say my next trip is probably at least a few years from now. How will I ever survive?

Disney just gets under your skin doesn't it?

Tiger I will be with you. Not going till december of 2004 have not evn made reservations. Don't want to be too disappointed if we don't get to go.

Not so long now, but I have been anxiously waiting since our last trip in Feb 2001. That is 31 months of waiting so far and only 2.5 to go! Woo-hoo!!!

My wife didn't want to travel pregnant or with a baby, so we saved up and bought into DVC. So, now we have another trip planned next fall. Much better!
