The original Toy Story Film in Digital 3D is having a limited one week run at my local Odeon starting 2nd October:cool1::cool1:

I've booked my tickets for Saturday evening, going with two friends and six children:)

Yes we are going on Saturday :thumbsup2 It is the weekend before we are off to WDW so the kids have decided on a Disney weekend - Toy Story at the cinema, mickey waffles for tea, Toy Story Mania on the Wii, Disney Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit and then a couple of DVDs

We are going on Sunday, I have been playing my Toy Story Mania game all week too on my iphone and wii!!

I love these film being re-released, my children weren't even born when Toy Story first came out so they have to make do with the DVD. We're all really excited:banana::banana:

Your Disney-fied weekend sounds fab, Jackie:thumbsup2 We do weekends like this in the winter:goodvibes We watch rides videos on youtube and even try and re-enact rides for the girls:rotfl2::rotfl2: our Tower of Terror is a sight :lmao:

:lmao: now that sounds worthy of you-tube on its own !

Indeed! It involves throwing small children as high as possible as quickly as possible (over the bed, I should add).

Soarin' is pretty good too, you get pushed around on the office chair in the dark whilst mummy peels an orange;)

I've booked to go with my Dad on Friday night...sooooo excited now!

And I've just seen the advert now and saw the Little Green Men...I adore them and they're now going to be bobbing out at me on Friday!! :rotfl2:

Leaving in three hours for Dinner at pizza express then onto the cinema - the children are so excited - me too:banana::banana:

We watched it last night and thought it was really cool! :) It wasn't 3D as I was expecting (ie, more like popping right out at the screen at you) but I still really enjoyed it.

It never gets old to me that film though, adore it! :goodvibes

Looking forward to TS2 3D now near Christmas I believe.

Tickets are booked for 4pm tomorrow but oldest DS isn't coming. apparently he doesn't like toy story :scared1: but I think its the 3d part he doesn't like :rotfl2:. Never mind his loss he's staying with papa for a boys day

We went to the 10:15 matinee this morning. It was great. The digital 3D is really cool - nothing pops out at you but the film has much more depth. Think 1080p high def but even more depth. Pleasantly surprised that our 3D glasses were also plastic frames and pretty sturdy (we went to an AMC). Intermission for 10 minutes between the two but they run fun trivia and short clips during those 10 minutes that is pretty funny, too - comments from the characters answering the questions, etc.

Well worth the $8 each we paid for the matinee - 2-for-1 and great movies and in digital 3D is almost impossible to beat. Worth double the price. The previews included the upcoming "A Christmas Carol" and it looked aweome in 3D as well. Planet 51 also looks quite funny and creative.

We had a great time at Toy Story tonight - three Mums and six children aged 3-6. Absolutely fantastic looking down the line at all the kids in their glasses glued to the screen - priceless!
