Anybody doing the Family Magic Tour on Mon, Dec 5? UPDATE! All 15 of us are DISers!

Just found out that another DIS member, Good Ol Gal, and my family will all be doing the FMT that day. There are 15 people registered for the tour, and between our 2 families we make up 11 of the 15. So is there a 4 member DIS family doing the tour that day also?

I have 3 & 5 year old boys.

Our itenerary is subject to change (probably many times!) but for now we are scheduled on the 5th! It was my 2nd choice date but my 1st choice was sold out but from the looks of this it may have been a good thing!

Tripplefigs, we'll be at the GF too. We're there from 12/3 - 12/9 before we move to the Yacht Club for a few nights.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so awesome! We are all wearing FMT shirts that Julia & Nick's mom designed for us. Family Magic Tour Shirts Can't believe we'll be at the GF together too. We'll have to meet up that morning and ride the monorail to the MK together!

Very cool! We will definitely do the shirts too! They will love that! My boys are big Peter Pan fans. My oldest was Peter Pan at MVMCP last year and got to meet Peter Pan while he was in his costume. He was literally speechless he was so excited, he recoved enough to ask Peter to crow for him before he said goodbye. His favorite tee shirt is his red Peter Pan shirt that says "the good guys always win" or something like that so he'll love the family magic shirt.

We won't be on the dining plan. I'm a TA so I'll have that discount and can't get the dining plan with it (despite many pleas to sales that I can sell it better if I've been able to use it myself!).

This is exciting! Very neat!

J&N's mom offered to customize them even more for us, so if you have any ideas, we should let her know. This is an amazing coincidence!

Oh, and we are on the Dining Plan. I got a AAA package with room discount and the dining plan together. We're at Sugar Loaf Concierge at the GF, so all 3 of our families will be right there together at the MK!

My kids don't know about this one yet either. This falls in line with my vow to "mix it up a bit" this trip and do some things we haven't done yet.

Good ol Gal, have you stayed at VWL before? We were there last spring and really liked it. My now 5 year old keeps reminding me that he liked that we had a red/green door and everyone else had a green/red door (I can't remember which color our door was, just that the doors on either side of ours were the other color and he's not in here for me to ask....if I call him in to ask I will be subjected to an constant "can I play my computer game on YOUR computer, Mom?" )

Tripplefigs, we are right now just in a plain old regular room but if I can bump us to SLC I plan on doing that. I check pretty regularly to see if they've opened up anything for TA rates but from what I've been told they won't do that till much closer. Even if we end up in our plain old regular room I'll still be happy! It will be our first stay there so I'm looking forward to it. Actually my 5 yo is beyond excited too. He is thrilled to be staying "under the red roof."

we've never stayed at the Villas before. We were there last Dec and stayed at Saratoga for the first time. It was sooo nice!! Right now we only have VWL for our Fri & Sat nights.. we're on the waitlist for the remainder of our stay. We have Saratoga for the whole stay.

We are hoping to be staying at the VWL b/c mom and dad are going to be RVing it at the campground and we figured it would really nice to be a boat ride away.

If we can't get the whole week we're just going to go with our Home Saratoga.

You both are going to shoot me... but we extended our trip by a day, so now we're doing the FMT on Tuesday, Dec 6. I'm so sorry we're going to miss you! It just fits our schedule much better. I'm sure you're going to be great in your shirts!

BTW, my kids want to wear their costumes for the tour, so I bought my DD a new Tinkerbell to wear. They'll be Hook, Peter Pan, and Tink.
