Just wondering--we're going to book a 7 night Eastern for then as soon as we're able.

It would be fun to plan with some people over the next two years!

We were thinking of doing a summer 2004 Western. We did the Eastern this past April. We are a family of 5. I was thinking of gettig 2 rooms and putting my 2 teens together. That would leave my hubby, myself and younger child in the other room.My oldest just started college, so summer would be our best time to cruise. We also did the Wonder 4 day in 2000 during July and did not mind the hotter weather.Anyone for summer 2004 Western??I was thinking last week of June or 1st week in July?? Joan S.

We're planning on doing an Eastern/Western back to back in late August/early September. Really hoping to get cabin 8032 like we just had, it was right next to the Walt Suite and we LOVED it!

My DH, DS and myself are planning a June 2004 Western with my DH's brother, wife and daughter. We (DH, DS and myself) had such a great time on our 3 day Wonder cruise last December that we wanted to do the 7 day next time. It will be so much fun having family along too! I wish DCL would hurry up and allow booking of the summer 2004 cruises. The deposit money is burning a hole in my savings account! Here's to long term planning!

We will be back again in 2004, seems so
far away. Met up with some super-terrific
people on our cruise in August and we
booked another cruise while on board with
them. Constantly going thru our pictures
and my journal and wanna go back sooner
than 2004!!!!! McTigger and MeggieBear -
we had the BEST time with your family!
Miss 'ya!

We're hoping to book in July 2004. We've done the 4-day land/3-day sea (May 1999) and the 7-day Eastern (May 2002). We booked while we were aboard and will transfer our booking as soon as they open the rest of the booking for 2004. We're really looking forward to doing the Western.

We are waiting for the books to open to book August 7, 2004 (Eastern). We pre-booked while on Western this July in order to get the on-board credit. Because they only had books open thru April, 2004, they booked us for that timeframe and told us to call and transfer reservation to August once the books open.

We plan on doing a 7-day (probably western) in Summer 2004, either July or early August, after my younger DS turns 13. That way, both of my boys will be able to go to Common Grounds if they want. They weren't much for the kids clubs when we did the 3 and 4 day cruises, but I'd at least like to have that option open for them, then let them decide for themselves what they would like to do. If we cruise sooner than that, they would be split up into Lab and Common Grounds, which probably wouldn't interest them at all. Only 2 more years of planning!

We were going to do summer, 2004, but after going this past August we decided to go in March, 2004, instead. August was just too hot. We didn't get much use out of the verandah because of the heat, even at night. We booked room 8532 for 3/27/2004 - only 557 more days!

I have sailed with my family on the Magic Eastern (May 2001) and alone with my DW on the Magic Western (June 2002). While onboard we booked out as far as we could ... at that time April 2004. They simply said we could move the ressies to June 2004 as soon as they open up.

We are planning to move the ressies for a cabin for us (and kids this time! - DD16 and DS11 by that time) and an adjoining cabin for friends of ours with small children. We are taking our children on the Western cruise for the first time, it is our choice of the two by far.

We hope to move the ressies to the 3rd or 4th week of June (which ever is the Western).

Hope we can chat it up until then!!

Howard-

I know this is a little off topic but I wanted to ask why you prefer the Western itinerary. We did the Eastern in August and are scheduled for the Western in 2004. The one thing I preferred about the Eastern right away was the extra day at sea.

DW, DD8, and myself are cruising 3/13 on the Western Car. We're hoping that we've picked the week she has spring break. Her school calendar for 2004 won't be out until April 03 but we wanted to book as early as possible to get the price break. Our cruise has gone up $400 in just over a month. We were going to wait until our $99 cruise 10/17 to rebook and get the onboard ship credit. I'm glad we didn't wait.

We are planning for the Western cruise in June 2004. This will be our first cruise. When will they start booking for that time and where do you look first to make a reservation?
