Thoughts on the new place?

I'm kinda stoked to visit. I'm a big fan of good tequila, so I'm looking forward to stopping by... any body sampled the wares?

One week until I leave for the House of Mouse...

If that is the new place in the Mexican Pavillion, then yes.We each had a margarita,my DW thought it was wonderful,I thought it good but I am not a margarita drinker. But I do like tequila so I asked the CM to pick a shot of tequila for me and(I don't recall the name)it was great. It was our last day @ WDW so we have to wait for our next trip to return.I think it is a little pricey though:thumbsup2:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I sort of assumed that being a place that specializes in tequila, it would be pricey. Which is good... cheap tequila is bad, bad, bad. LOL. Someone once said, "I tell people who say they've had bad experiences with tequila that what they've actually had is experiences with bad tequila."

We were there in Jan. We had the margarita sampler which was tasty and fun. They had a tequila sampler too but that was a bit too much for us with a full day in the park ahead. It was not crowded at all while we were there. Maybe people don't know about it yet. We also had the guacamole which was good. You could surely make lunch out of the snacks they had there.

The Margaritaville sampler sounds interesting. I'm not a fan of tequila by itself but Margaritas are great.

Exactly where is this place?

You will not be disappointed. This is my new favorite place in Epcot.

There are a gazillion different kinds of tequila. Lots of variety for silver, reposado and anejo tequilas. Various flights (including a sangrita shot for a kick o' flavor!), wonderful specialty margaritas, and lots of bar food choices. I'm really partial to the shrimp ceviche!

Couldn't agree more. In addition, the CMs were really friendly and very informative. Although, after the tequila sampler and a Dos Equies dark, things started to get a little hazy...:drinking1

I can get that way after a couple margaritas! :rotfl2:

Does anyone know if there is a menu online to look at? I can't even remember the name.

This sounds great, My wife will love the margarita sampler. Does anyone know where I can get a really good beer?

Agree. Absolutely fabulous drinks. DH had the best margarita (or 2:rolleyes1)...it had cucumbers and peppers in it..it was AMAZING.
I booked the Beach Club for August and DH is thrilled:banana: because (1.) He can go to the ESPN Club to watch the Red Sox and (2.) He can walk to the ditch to get this margarita.

Good lord... that menu is... OMG. Well, suffice it to say that if I go missing on my trip, this is where I'll be found!

It is inside the Mexico pavillion adjacent to San Angel Inn restaurant.:)

My fiance and I stopped in when we were at Epcot in December. Looked like a really cool place... nice bar, good snack-type menu, but it was crowded! We thought about just getting a drink at the bar but we wouldn't have been able to enjoy ourselves due to the number of people there. We will try again when we go back - hoping to find a less busy time! Any ideas?

Love this place! We've been there twice this week. The first time we had guacamole, margarita flight, beer and a tequila shot. Yesterday we had the chicken tostadas and cava tequila flight! We loved everything. Yes it's expensive but one of our new favorites!

We went during our Marathon trip in January. We went in the early afternoon and it was full but we found a table quickly. Someone also scooped up our table while we were getting ready to go, so it was fairly busy. We ordered the chicken tostado appy and I ordered the maragarita flight

The tostadas were good but for $9, we were expecting more than 3, and the flight was fun to do, but again $18 is a bit much, considering most of the margaritas were pre-made and they just assembled.

I'm glad I did it but it was expensive. Next time I'll just pick up a grey goose slushie or a fiesta margarita, and food from a QS.
