I am trying to book online for the DLH at the AP rate. We are getting Parkhoppers and then planning to upgrade. One member of my party has an AP. Does the room need to be in her name or does it matter whose name it is in as long as someone in the room has an AP? Thanks!

As far as I know you cannot book the AP rate online. That has to be done with a phone call. And you don't have to have the AP right now, but you'll likely need to upgrade on that day to show them. So the room doesn't have to be in the current Ap holder's name unless you want it to be.

Thanks for the info...they do have a new ability to book online. If you go to the AP Hotel Availability calendar and check by the phone number it says "book online". I tried it and on the hotel choice page it said AP Special. I was surprised too. I had no problem booking the AP Rate online. Also, rates have dropped for dates after June 11th. I booked a view room at the DLH for 209. So, I went ahead and booked the room. I am hoping that we will have no problem with the room in my name and the AP holder being a different person. I don't want to upgrade that day because we are going to use the MM for the DLH benefit and then we have reservations at HOJO's and I want the PH benefit of MM as well. That's why I am nervous and was making sure that the AP holder just has to be one person in the room or if it has to be the person making the reservation.

So your DLH stay is before your HoJo stay?

Gosh...just to be sure I might just go ahead and put it in your AP holder friend's name, or call them. Or maybe someone else with more knowledge (b/c I certainly didn't know you could book with the AP rate online!!!!!) will chime in!
