Any1 do water parks in February?

Does any1 do water parks in February? If so, how is the weather?

We don't do the waterparks as we feel it is still "too cold." Then again, we are from S. Louisiana and 70 is cold! We only do the water parks May-Sept. One year, we were there in Feb. and kids swam at the PO pool. The pool was heated though. I've seen people swimming in 30-40 degree weather in December with steam coming out of the pool and the ligeguards in Wind Suits/pants/jackets. I guess it depends on where you are from.

We went down in Feb for a quick weekend trip. While we didn't do the waterparks, we happen to get on a bus at some point that was dropping off/picking up people that were using the parks. And there were a lot of them. The weather when we were down there changed dramatically from day to day - so it all depends on the weather. Everything is heated though.

We were their the week of Feb 8-14 2004. We were at BB and it was very manageable even with TL closed for rehabs. The weather was warm but at times a little overcast. DH waited about 15 minutes for SP but nothing else was a wait. The longest wait seemed to be the line for the ski lift. If you are ok walking up the steps you'll have a great time.

In 2003 we did TL and it was cold. I felt the water was not heated enough. And the Shark Lagoon would have been even colder, which we love but skipped it. The weather was wonderful, just a little too cold for the water parks. We stuck to the resort pool. I think on some days it would have been fine. When it is above 75 dgrees?maybe...

For the past three years, I went to Water Parks during an even colder time, the first week of January. While on my trip, I usually constantly check the weather, and then pick the warmest day during my trip to go. I believe each time I went, the air temp was about 72 degrees. It wasn't super-warm, but since I am from the northeast, I found it pretty nice! It was so neat to swim in the wave pool at TL and not crash into anyone! Low crowds definately made it worthwhile!

Like another poster said, I guess it's what you're used to!
