I've been lurking this forum for a while now for CP application tips and things, and I've noticed that everywhere I've looked (both here and on other forums/blogs) has been almost entirely WDW-based.

Obviously it's because more people apply/go to WDW, but does ANYONE on this planet go to Disneyland? Haha.

I live in Oregon, and I consider Disneyland my second home - I love the history of it, the tiny little nuances, all of that. Disney is California to me, so I really can't see myself going to Florida.

So, is there anyone else out there hoping to do Disneyland instead of WDW in Spring 2012? (:

I am from the west too(Utah!) and grew up going to Disneyland as well. I love Disneyland and it will always have a special place in my heart.
That being said, there were a few reasons why i didn't apply there.
1. More roles offered at wdw
2. There is a better chance of getting into the Florida program
3. I didn't want to deal with unions lol
4. I had never been to wdw and at the time figured it was probably my only chance to go(I want to move back down so thats changed). also, me being down there, my family who never would have gone before got to go down and visit me and stay on property, something we never did in Cali.

Okay so I don't mean to deter you from trying to Disneyland, or be all wdw is the best! Because I don't feel that way. I think every Disney park in the world has something special and I want to visit them all someday! I am just saying you could try for both, many people have done it, so that you have a chance somewhere. :thumbsup2

Also, I don't know if they have this in Cali, but i took a class on Disney heritage and there was a lot about Disneyland! It was fun and definitely cool to be one of the students who on the cp who had been to Disneyland!

Aaaaand please don't take this as mean spirited or anything cuz i know the loyalty Disneyland has, I grew up with it! :) this was all out of love for Disney and its parks!(what I said about not having a favorite park...I will say that the one above all others I want to visit is Tokyo Disney because it is so different and amazing!!! And they love stitch there :lovestruc)
