Any Weird Holiday Traditions????

growing up it was never intended to happen-just did and ended up traditional in our home. anywhere from 1 to 2 months after christmas we kids could count on getting at least one christmas gift, unwrapped-mom would have hidden it and forgotten where it was.

He he, that sounds exactly like my house - there's always a few late presents from Mom, sometimes even five months later as she's getting birthday presents ready for me.

We celebrate Christmas Snake. You know, the day before Christmas Adam which, of course, is the day before Christmas Eve.
I admit I started this when I was a child. I noticed that we were always allowed to open a gift on Christmas Eve so the next year I asked if we could open one on Christmas Adam and to my surprise we were allowed so the next year I went for Christmas Snake and it just kinda stuck (though, the following year, Christmas Apple went over like a lead balloon). My brother has developed an annual party around "Christmas Snake". I'm willing to bet all my Christmas presents that my family is the only one that celebrates Christmas Snake.

That is funny! Took me a minute to understand what Christmas Adam was.
