I am not sure what you mean by freebies, but if you go to one of those big wedding shows you can go around to all the different vendors and some of them will let you taste food or cake and give you cards/samples of their work, or DVD's showing their wedding video-ography, samples of their music etc. Stuff like that. But those are really only worth it if you go to one in the area of where you are getting married because all of the vendors are local and there is usually a fee to get in, but there are sometimes door prizes.

Tell them to go online to Martha Stewart Weddings or the Knot or Wedding wire to get started. Have fun!

Congrats to your daughter on her engagement.

While probably not exactly what you're thinking about in your post, my DD & her fiance, who are getting married at the end of this month, just received a greeting from President and Michelle Obama congratulating them on their marriage.

I would sign up for everything you can think of. Go to the bridal magazine websites and they will have other links from there that you can sign up for. Go to theknot.com, Martha Stewart Weddings or just google wedding freebies. You never know what you'll be able to get. Around us in Jan they start having the bridal shows. The first like 100 brides get more freebies and plus in there you can sign up for more things and vendors are giving away stuff.

Yeah maybe do that..I have it going to my regular yahoo but I don't get THAT much on a daily basis.

Just be aware that they all sell your # and email address.
I have gone to 2 bridal shows and have either gotten a ton of emails or a ton of phone calls afterward.
Davids Bridal sold my # as well. I got a daily phone call telling me I won a vacation...its a scam. Just google the phone # that calls.
