I have had my vacation planned and booked months for July 4th through July 12th. Funny thing is I had booked a one night stay at Universal (paid for through priceline so I can't cancel :rolleyes2) for July 7th and checking out the 8th. Now the new land opens on those dates. Any tips from anyone to help me out? Seems like we won't have early entry into the land and right now no soft openings. Do we just attempt to avoid the land entirely? I'm guessing that would also mean that we have to stay the whole day in order to avoid being locked out the park due to overcrowding?

This is only my second visit to Universal where we decided to go to Florida and not do anything Disney at all and any help would be appreciated.
