Any way to guarantee access to special viewing for fireworks?

We are 2 adults & 2 children in the parks 1/18 thru 1/23.

Edited to add:
Our Visa package includes free UMPs for the children & indicates "Disney's Choice Feature".

Are you on some package that has this feature? Rule of thumb, very little is guaranteed at Disney. Special seating is usually first come first serve and when it fills, there is nothing you can do.
But, without any other details than the ones you supplied, it is hard to give any answer.

Not sure what package you're on, but the last 2 times I stayed and had the Gold package, we got preferred fireworks viewing at MK and Epcot...These are basically roped off areas for those under certain packages...not sure if that is what you meant.

there are only a few ways that I know to get better viewing for the fireworks show. One, as mentioned above, if you are under a deluxe vacation package deal there are times you get a special viewing area. You have to choose it as one of your perks.

Next, if you have suffered a wrong from Disney they will put you on a special list to be in a special viewing area. An example of a wrong could be a screw up on your charge card. You get the idea.

Probably, the best way I know is to take the Undiscovered Future World Tour at Epcot. This is not a free tour. This is not a guarantee but when space is available (no previous comittments) you will be put on a special list and get special viewing for Illuminations on the day of your tour.

If you can be one of the elite and get into a private party, then that's wonderful.

I'm not sure how it is on the other plans, but on the Gold plan, the fireworks viewing was included, not an option. We got certificates (one per person) and called up the day before we wanted to go and brought the certificates with us

Still not sure you can guarantee that, but, you can try. I feel sure your package gives those details. Is this option listed? Or is it just mini golf, story telling at epcot, two images on leave a legacy tile or Planet Hollywood offer? Sorry if it seems I am giving you the 3rd. degree, but, I cannot find much info on this package.
Just trying to help.

From what I have gathered, your package is the same as the non discounted Dream Maker package.
This is what is included in the Dream Maker Package.

This Package includes:

Accommodations for three or more nights at a selected Walt Disney World® Resort hotel with all the special benefits available to Disney Resort Guests.
The Ultimate Park Hopper Ticket, providing admission to all Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Water Parks, Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island, DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park and more throughout your package stay. You'll save money when you buy before you arrive! (savings based on purchase of the same ticket at the front gate)
Two souvenir Disney trading pins and two lanyards per room.
Official Walt Disney Travel Company keepsake luggage tag (one per person).
Plus:

Two FREE souvenir Disney trading pins and lanyards per room
One of the following FREE Choice Features per room (the one Choice Feature chosen must be used by all Guests in a room at the same time and at the same location:)
One round of miniature golf at Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course or Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course
One storytelling experience at Epcot® (advance reservations required and subject to availability)
Up to two images displayed on one Leave a Legacy tile at Epcot®
Up to $25 toward dining at Planet Hollywood® at Downtown Disney® West Side.

This says nothing about fireworks and limits your options to the ones listed above.
Here is hoping that Visa did have that added, but, I did not see that anywhere.

We do have the Visa promotion's Disney Dreammaker package & I did find that our choices are:
just mini golf, story telling at epcot, two images on leave a legacy tile or Planet Hollywood offer
I will keep looking and ask when we arrive. we are going the 3rd week in Jan so after the MLK weekend crowd leaves, we shouldn't encounter too many crowds.

Not sure if this will help, but... Last year we went in Feb. on the Silver Plan and applied a discount code to it. We were *not* allowed to have the preferred fireworks viewing included in the plan because of the discount .

This Jan (5 days:Pinkbounc ) we're going on the Gold Plan, so no discounts available for us. However, we also haven't had a problem booking the preferred fireworks viewing. You get vouchers, and we've already booked for Illuminations and Wishes (you can call 45 days prior for Illuminations and 10 days for Wishes). I don't know if it'll be better than just finding our own spot, but we'll see.

For either plan, the preferred viewing was not a choice feature, it was just part of the (un-discounted) package. Maybe it's not included, but if you're interested it's worth a shot to call and ask:D
