Any Way To Get Mickey Biegnets??

YEA! Thanks for the anwer! Also, yes, Cafe du Monde is a famous eatery in New Orleans that serves biegnets and coffee. The most famous is right across from Jackson Square and the St. Louis Cathedral right on the Mississippi River. If you ever make it to New Orleans, you must try it!

Thanks! I will file that in my brain if we ever get back to New Orlens. By the way I think the beignets are served dusted with the powdered sugar. Is that how you like them? Or do you like to dip in the sugar too??? Now I need to go to the dining thread to look for them.... to remember if they serve them plain or dusted?

Found the picture on page 4 of the dining reviews and pics. I'm sure you can request the powdered sugar on the side. I know that I did for the Monte Cristo sandwich. Now that was yummy too. Decided I liked the sugar on the sandwich.

I liked it on the sandwich too so I am sure that I will like it on the Biegnets!!! I have really wanted to try them the last few trips and just never made it before we left!!

Umm!?! Haven't been to Cafe du Monde, so can't help you there....but the Mickey beignets ARE served wtih powdered sugar! The sauces are optional, but worth a try if you ask me. Rasberry and vanilla!!! But I"m not a purist of the beignet world. Geesh...I had my first one last year at WDW at the PO French Quarters. Yum!! So you see I'm just a newbie.
PS- Where in the world is Cafe du Monde??? I suppose you need to go to New Orleans or something crazy like that????

As mentioned by my Louisiana friend, Cafe du Monde is THE coffee shop in New Orleans. Opened in the 1860's, it is THE place to have coffee & beignets. Open 24 hr. 7 days a week (only closes for Christmas). I've closed out an evening there at 4am (with the mist coming off the Mississippi) & have started the day there at 8am (before the tourists are out). Perhaps the website will link -

Very good to hear they are "powdered" & that the "dipping sauces" are optional. Rasberry & Vanilla goop in my morning coffee would just NOT do at all.

don't go there wearing black, especially on a windy day. YOU will be dusted with powdered sugar.

I'm so bummed that I felt peer-pressured OUT of trying the "fritters" at DL...but we were there with my perfect brother and perfect sister in law and THEY weren't hungry, so I decided I wasn't, either.

Had some Mickey Beignets just the other day at Cafe Orleans. They are not lightly dusted with powdered sugar

They are BURIED in them!!!! YUMMMM!!!
And you definitely get more than 3!
