Any Way to Find Out What Cabanna's is Serving?

I hear that Cabana's has some lunch selections that change day to day - is there anyway to find out what they're doing on a given day short of walking all the way up to check it out?

Sometimes the staff would tell me to make sure that I visit the next day because they have my homeland foods. But it was never in print. A nice tip to a chatty CM in the buffet area might get you the information you seek.

OP did you ever decide if you were going to do a back to back?

From my observation for lunch in Cabannas the soups are least are the same soups that are being served at the sit down restaurant lunch that day (and can be found on the menu); however, the other items can be different.

We found this as well. In addition, if there is a special bread from the night before, it's usually at Cabanas. For example, the day after pirate night, you can often find the cornbread at Cabanas.

Yep, we're doing a 5 day Christmas on the Wonder followed by a 5 day New Years.

We decided that we didn't want to risk being on the other side of the country if our tests came positive. San Diego is only a few hour drive from us so a safter bet.

We really like the main dining room for lunch, but we hear over and over that we need to try the Buffett for lunch, so I thought we might give it a go once or twice. We have mobility issues though, so once we're up there it's likely we'll end up staying instead of going all the way back to Tritons. Was hoping we could better plan the best days for us to give it a go. But, buffet russian roulette here we come. ;)

If it were on the app, that would ruin my..."I'm just going to go look to see what they have" line. I know darn well I wont go and just look. :rotfl2:

In all seriousness, I agree it would be convenient to have that information. :thumbsup2

On some sea days, I have both. 🙈

I don't know if it would help, but you could mention to your head dining room server (who should come by your table the first night) that you'd like to know what Cabanas is serving for lunch each day. The Head Server might say they don't know that either, but you might be able to get some information.

It's worth a try - thank you for the idea.
