Any Vonage users out there?

We are seriously considering switching to Vonage and I was wondering if anyone currently uses them and what your experience has been. For those who are curious, it is a new phone company that uses your high speed internet connection for your phone. I've read all the pros and cons and my brother uses them...he seems pleased. Between long distance and local we currently spend about $140 a month on our phone. We could get the $39.99/month plan for Vonage and that includes local, long distance (to Canada too which is a big thing since family is there), caller id, call waiting, voice mail, etc. It would save us at least $100.00/month. I just keep waiting for the catch but I can't find one. Any experiences? Thanks in advance!

Hi Bridget. I do not have anything to add but did see a commercial for the first time this week. It kept my interest to watch it through. Sounds like it may be good. How does your brother like them?

I've heard nothing but good things about them. I have two friends in other states that have subscribed and they have few complaints. The only problem they have is that if your having heavy internet traffic (downloading stuff or more than 2 computers using the network) then it seems to get fuzzy sometimes. I plan on getting it as soon as they get Kentucky numbers. I read a great article about it in USA Today, it seemed nothing but positive. If you subscribe to it, let me know how it goes.
