The ADR's we've made for our trip and our planned counter service all show one or more vegetarian entree, so I know we won't go hungry. But can anyone tell me what meals you've had that were good/great or otherwise?

We didn't eat much CS, so I'm not a lot of help there, but here's what was good this past January:
(1) Tangierine Cafe (Morocco in Epcot) - veg platter - really tasty - ate it on two occasions - a departure from the usual CS fare.
(2) Artist Point - Potato wonton entree - really tasty and unusual
(3) Cali Grill - liked everything, loved nothing (except the cheese assortment)
(4) Jiko - loved the appetizers, entree? :confused3 Just so-so
(5) San Angel Inn - ask for the vegetarian menu - I ordered the platter. It was tasty, but unextraordinary.
(6) Rose & Crown - vegetable curry thing - my husband LOVED this. It was too rich for me at the time, but I think it was the mood I was in.

1) Tabbouleh wrap in ABC Commissary is a hit or miss. Sometimes its really really good and fresh, but sometimes its a little soggy :confused3
2) Liberty Tree Tavern's "Amber Waves of Grain" REALLY REALLY good.. the unusual grains and fresh veggies with the veggie coulis sauce and fried onion strips on top is heavenly  Never had one that tasted bad or off. Note: only for lunch is it non family style.. but you can probably order a similar plate in addition to the family style stuff.
3) Cosmic Ray's vegetarian burger is great because of the bun and the various amount of toppings you can add to it--like sauteed mushrooms and onions, yum!
4) Columbia Harbour House's Light House Sandwich.. really good with hummus, broccoli slaw, tomato. I get a half sandwich w/vegetarian chili.
5) Tony's Town Square's eggplant rotini.. really tasty and cheesy!

And my personal favorite of all time....
BOMA! Huuuuuge selection of vegetarian dishes, salads, entrees.. and wonderful desserts. REALLY good Carrot Ginger Soup it was SO good I had 2 bowls of it. And the best thing about it? all you can eat!

Hope I was of any help:flower3:

On the Boardwalk:
Grilled veggie panini at the Bakery -- served cold or grilled --> loved the grilled version!
ESPN -- grilled veggie sandwich -- loved this too

MGM/ABC Commissary:
The tabbouleh wrap and veggie lo mein are family favorites.

MK/Columbia Harbor House:
Veggie Chili

Thank you all so much!!
Sounds like there's a lot to look forward to!
And amazing to think some places actually have a veggie menu! :thumbsup2

Just 3 months to go!!!

I had great meals at:

California Grill They have a great dish called "the vegetarian unplugged" that gives you the sides from other entrees. I also love the cheese plate and flatbreads (we had one that usually has chicken on it and had them make half without the chicken).

Le Cellier The menu item when I was last there was a "spiced black bean cake" that was red peppers stuffed with a black bean mixture and topped with cheese; it came along with a peanut noodle salad. Yum! However, the vegetarian item has changed for the season now though.

Flying Fish Had a great salad and cheese plate. The chef also made me a special tasting plate since there was nothing vegetarian on the menu.

Ohana I just love it here even though it's so meat heavy. I eat the salad, wontons and dips (I love the peanut sauce), and potatoes. And they'll make you a special vegetarian dish--lo mein with veggies and fried tofu. It's not the most impressive dish ever, but I like it. And I really like the bread pudding too.

CS places that I enjoyed were:
Earl of Sandwich The caprese sandwich is vegetarian; I get the grilled cheese (made with Brie) with out the meat.

Wolfgang Puck Express Lots of veggie options here.

Columbia Harbor House The hummus sandwich as mentioned by previous posters.'

Sunshine Seasons Numerous veggie options here.

Lighthouse sandwich and soup at Columbia Harbour house you can have the vegetarian sandwich which tastes like heaven and then the vegetarian chilli. Its the best veggie meal on property in my opinion!
