Just read a recent post about renovations going on in June at YC. We're trying to book either here or BC for mid to late July. Are they working on BC as well, and any of it involve the pool (SAB)? If anyone has any info regarding the status it would help us in deciding which resort to choose. Thanks!
The work is to the outside siding of the Yacht Club. It will not involve the pool directly but there could be work being done to the outside of the building near the pool. They are not working on the Beach club.
A large percentage of the YC was covered with a light sheething I suppose you would call it as well as boarded covering at ground level. The first section where the gazebo is looks complete but right next to it is where they're doing all the work. The doorway into the resort is open but you cannot access the walkway along side the bldg there outside that goes toward the east or BC. Looks like it'll be there for a while.
