any updates on when mummy will open?

I am trying to plan for a may stay at hard rock, but want to know about when mummy is set for opening first. (if no one knows officially, any unofficial thoughts would be helpful too!)

I'd also like to plan a trip. Got an Entertainment book for Christmas, and will stay onsite since I've never done it.

The marketing department is missing a great opportunity by being so secretive. If they come out with a date, they can advertise to people up north, who are snowed in, and get them down here before May, when CP opens. I don't understand why the top secret attitude these days.

People are asking about Mardi Gras, and the Mummy ride, and there's nothing. People plan trips months in advance, not days.

And yes, I know there could be a delay, so you put Estimated Opening Date and shoot for it.

Yeah I agree espec over Mardi Gras they should be advertising now for guests seems silly to be so secrective

Just had to agree that Universal seems to really miss the boat on advertising opportunities- they are so SLOW to release details of upcoming events.

They might snag the last minute travelers but they are losing bookings from those who plan 6 months out or more. (Often vacation time must be requested up to a year in advance - I know my husband has already put in requests for next December!).

From a business perspective I really don't understand their logic.
