Any updates on FOTLK monkey acrobat accident?

I believe I read in April that there had been an accident by one of the monkey performers in FOTLK and they had temporarily removed the trapeze act from the show. When we visited over Memorial Day I noticed the trapeze act was still not part of the show.

Does anyone have any updates on what the accident was, how the performer is doing, and whether the trapeze act will return? Or has it already returned in the last few weeks?

They were back a few days later. Maybe something happened on Memorial Day so they weren't there when you saw it. But I saw it around May 20th and they were all there.

When you saw it they also could've cut it out if one of them had to call out of work on short notice. But they aren't taken out of the show

If Flying Monkey's are found, please return to:

Thank you,

Thanks! I thought (feared) that maybe something serious had happened and they removed it from the show permanently. We saw it on May 27. I expected the monkeys to do the trapeze part and when they did not I thought it might be related to the accident.

We saw it during the week of Memorial Day, on Wednesday the 31st, and they were in the show.

We were there last Friday. Monkey Trapeze act was not in the show.

I saw it on Sunday (6/11) and the monkey trapeze was in the show. I didn't know they had been temporarily taken out... it's one of my favorite parts!

I'm sure there are multiple casts. 2, if not more. Sounds like they are down at least 1 performer so one of the casts can't perform. If you catch the show with that cast scheduled you miss the monkey's.

OP here - when I saw it on May 24, there were just 3 monkeys in the show. When I saw there were 3 I guessed the trapeze might not happen and it didn't. Your explanation is as good as any. Maybe one of the crews is down a member. I am just glad to hear they have not completely removed it from the show!

Multiple casts definitely makes sense ...

For those of you who have gone recently, what day of the week did you visit? and which show time?

Wondering if we could determine the actual schedule of the missing monkey.

The acrobats were performing in the show we saw early May; but Klume, the lead male performer, was missing. The other characters had to take over his talking parts. It made for a strange show if you are used to seeing him there.

The monkeys are my favorite part of the show. That and the fire tosser, but I have't seen him for a while.
