Have been away from the boards for awhile and wondering what the latest info about this restaurant is. We have a December trip planned with a then 20 month old grandson and are hoping to try this place out. Any news about opening dates or dates to start adr's ? Thanks !

I was going to post this question too. We have a trip booked for October 2012, I can only find little bits & peices of info. from the internet. Was wondering the same if any one had heard anything new yet.

No info, but I'll make a couple of predictions.

1) It will be SLAMMED from open to close every day of the year for the forseeable future.

2) The character meal dinner will be their rationale for raising prices on all character meals property-wide.

3) The food will be about the same as every other restaurant in MK.

4) CRT will undergo some kind of big change as the demand for what it is now will decrease dramatically.

5) We're all going to give this place a shot at least once:)

Sorry, that was 5 predictions. :earsboy:

Here's a couple of things I have found searching as we also are going in December and Beauty and the Beast is my oldest daughters favorite.

1. It is not going to be a character meal

2. it will serve lunch and dinner

3. It will have three dining rooms

4. I believe it will be a table service restaurant for both dinner and lunch

I am really curious on menu

I thought I'd read somewhere that it was opening in June?? Maybe I dreamed that LOL

All I heard was it was a quick service for lunch and table service for dinner. Maybe they chagned that though. I haven't read too much about it. It is going to be a huge restaurant though, so maybe it won't be as hard to get into. OR if it is really busy, it will take away from the other restaurants, so they should be easy to get into!

It is 100% certain that the restaurant will be QS for lunch and TS for dinner.

Kinda hope your number 4 is true...specifically that CRT would go back to dinner NOT being a princess meal and instead being either non-character or quasi-character (where the fairy godmother and mice danced around but didn't specifically make the rounds to greet each table). That dinner was so great for proposals, honeymooners, and other romantic saps!

Count me in for December. As soon as I can make my ADR's, I am hoping I will be able to book Be Our Guest. I am very excited for the restaurant.

I heard it will be open sometime in April (Easter week) as trial run (beta testing).

Maybe it will be a full TS like Cindy's to make WDW more $$$'s.
Maybe they are testing menu items.

Then I heard it may open for the summer - maybe for more testing or final deciison making for WDW.

Final phase would be fall 2012.

I am so happy to hear it will probably be a CS for lunch!!

Plus, happy to also hear it won't be a character dining experience. The drawings that have been revealed months ago of BOG look lovely. Should be a nice addition.

I am also super curious about Gaston's Tavern!

All we have is that a WDW-DINE cast member told a poster to "look out for reservations opening in June." As to what that means - even if it means anything - we don't know. If it means anything it could mean either the restaurant is opening in June or they will start taking reservations in June. That's it. This thread is the first I've seen anyone say anything about possible soft openings in April.

The most clear information from Disney is that it will serve lunch and dinner, lunch will be counter service while dinner is table service. We don't know if this means the restaurant will actually serve lunch or will provide extra seating at lunch - as another CS restaurant, Gaston's Tavern, is scheduled to open with BOG.

As for dinner, there are some indications that it will not be a traditional character meal with costumed characters but there may be some of the following: 1) effects similar to the Animator's Palate on the Dream cruise ship and/or 2) "wandering" animatronics similar to Remy now appearing at Chefs de France.

There is no information out about menu, cost or dining credit allotments.

I'd like to see a non-princess meal in the castle also. I'd like to eat there again, but don't want to have to deal with the obligatory conversation & pictures in order to do so. When it's just DH & I, we don't even take our camera to WDW anymore. We have 1000's of pics from when our DS was younger. I don't want to appear rude to the CMs though. It would be nice if they offered a more relaxing meal for those of us who aren't that into character dining anymore.

I hope they have higher quality food than the rest of the MK restaurants. We also like the fact that there won't be characters, but I'd also like good food. I know... sometimes, I ask for too much.
