Any Unitarian Universalists here?

I'll post a link to our ministerial interns answers, later this week, once he's posted them. :)

Interesting article:
We are on the verge – within 10 years – of a major collapse of evangelical Christianity. This breakdown will follow the deterioration of the mainline Protestant world and it will fundamentally alter the religious and cultural environment in the West.

Within two generations, evangelicalism will be a house deserted of half its occupants. (Between 25 and 35 percent of Americans today are Evangelicals.) In the "Protestant" 20th century, Evangelicals flourished. But they will soon be living in a very secular and religiously antagonistic 21st century.

Perhaps this will pave the way for Carl Sagan's vision from Pale Blue Dot: "A religion, old or new, that stressed the magnificence of the Universe as revealed by modern science might be able to draw forth reserves of reverence and awe hardly tapped by the conventional faiths. Sooner or later, such a religion will emerge." Sounds an awful lot like some aspects of UUism, to me.

For folks in the North of Boston area (perhaps interested in scoping out our church community in a non-religious context), our church is hosting a coffee house next Saturday evening, with Mark Erelli performing. Tickets are $18. More info is here:
